Not hiring yet.
But the bar is being set.
DCS is solo and self-funded. First 2-3 hires open as pilot traction warrants — funded from founder capital, not gated on any financing event. The roles we'll open are documented below. Get on the early-access list and you'll be the first to know when they go live.
Planned roles (open Q3 2026)
Senior Engineer — Sovereign Memory
Lead engineer for the pgvector-backed memory layer. Strong systems background (Postgres, pgvector at scale, vector-search benchmarks). Experience with cryptographic receipt chains preferred. Comfortable owning a service that's already in production.
Compensation range: $150-200K base + 0.5-1.5% equity. Fully remote, Dubai or India preferred for timezone overlap.
Senior Engineer — Cryptography & On-Chain
Smart contract development (Solidity), Ed25519 / cryptographic primitives, Base / Optimism / Ethereum mainnet operations. Will own the TRDWorkerSBT contract, the Treasury settlement layer, and lead the future SBT audit by Trail of Bits or equivalent.
Compensation range: $180-240K base + 0.75-1.5% equity. Remote, any timezone with 4h overlap to Dubai.
Head of Standards & Government Relations
Owns the standards-body adoption pipeline (MeitY, ISRO, Anthropic, future). Experience with W3C / IETF / IEEE standards processes or government procurement in India/EU/US. This isn't a sales role — it's a multi-month relationship and process job. Will work directly with the founder.
Compensation range: $130-180K base + 0.5-1% equity. Mumbai or Delhi preferred (proximity to MeitY/ISRO).
Roles we will NOT hire for early
- Generalist marketing. Until product-market fit, the founder owns marketing. After PMF, we'll consider it.
- Sales / BDR. Same — founder-led sales until repeatable motion.
- Customer success. Memory + Treasury are self-serve. Sovereign-tier customers go through the founder.
- Junior engineers. Not until we have senior engineers who can manage and grow them. Solo founder + junior engineer = bad outcome.
What we value
- Shipped > resumes. Show me what you've built. Link to GitHub. Link to a thing in production with your name on it.
- Honest about what you don't know. Solo founder + small team can't carry imposters. Saying "I don't know" is +1, not -1.
- Cryptographic literacy or willingness to develop it. We work on signed-everything infrastructure. You don't need to invent crypto, but you need to read RFCs without flinching.
- Async-friendly. Remote-first, async-first. Meetings are expensive; we keep them rare.
- India / Dubai / EU timezone overlap. Strong preference for working hours that overlap with Dubai (UTC+4) by at least 4 hours/day.
How hiring will actually work
When roles open, here's what we'll do:
- Email the early-access list first — 3-day head-start before public posting.
- Public posting on dcsai.ai/careers with role details and a structured intake.
- Async written first round — three short technical questions, response in your time, evaluated together.
- One live interview with the founder, 60-90 min, deep dive into your best previous work.
- Paid 1-week trial on a real production-adjacent task. Both sides decide after.
- Offer or honest no. If no, we'll tell you why specifically — not a "we went with another candidate" form letter.
Get on the early-access list
You'll get an email the day before any role goes public. Drop your email + a 3-line note on what you've built recently and why DCS interests you. No resume needed at this stage.
One thing we won't do
We won't accept generic cold resumes. Mass-applied resumes go straight to /dev/null. If you want to work with us when the time comes, the early-access list (above) is the way. Personalize, be specific, be honest.
